Enscape Troubleshooting

  1. Enscape cannot find license server on computer (THREE OPTIONS)
    1. OPTION ONE
      • Exit Enscape and close SketchUp
      • Double check you are connected to the “Intersect Studio” Wifi as well as connected to the server folder
      • Restart SketchUp as well as Enscape
      • If problem still persists restart computer and follow steps from B
      • After restarting computer problem still exists contact studio admin (Ally)
    2. OPTION TWO
      • Select “Sign In”
      • Locate the Chaos information within the Technovations Folder
      • Once you sign in, close Enscape and reopen it
      • If problem persists, reach out to Aly
    3. OPTION THREE
      • Select the Chaos Documentation Website on the screen that pops ups when license key is not found
      • This will take you to the Chaos website
      • Find the latest version of Enscape
      • Update the program
        • You must close SketchUp prior to updating
      • Restart computer after update is complete
  2. Enscape will not load or freezes when loading
    1. Quit out of Enscape and your SketchUp Model (DONT FORGET TO SAVE)
    2. Re-Open SketchUp and then Enscape.
    3. If Enscape is still freezing, exit out of SketchUp & Enscape and competely restart the computer.
    4. After computer restart, again re-open SketchUp
    5. OR Hide large elements within file
      • Trees
      • People
      • Objects
      • Etc.
    6. Re-open Enscape
  3. Enscape freezes when trying to export out a render
    1. Quit out of Enscape and your SketchUp Model (DONT FORGET TO SAVE)
    2. Re-Open SketchUp and then Enscape
    3. Check your Export properties
      • Quality
        • HD
        • Ultra HD
        • Custom
      • Try and export the render at an HD quality level
    4. Re-Export your rendering at the correct quality!
  4. Ensacpe model does not load (blank canvas)
    1. Quit out of Enscape and your SketchUp Model (DONT FORGET TO SAVE)
    2. Re-Open Sketchup and then Enscape
    3. If model still will not load, exit out of SketchUp and Enscape and completely restart the computer.
    4. Re-load Sketchup Model and then Enscape
  5. Enscape window, time setting does not change when updated in SketchUp
    1. Click on the SketchUp scene you wish to change the time in
    2. Change time to help with Shadow, Sun, Clouds in Enscape
    3. Create New Scene that contains same view and updated time
    4. Save SketchUp Model
