- AutoCAD license not found
- Contact person with AutoCAD admin privileges

- Contact person with AutoCAD admin privileges
- The DWG file was saved by an application other than an AutoDesk program
- Select “Continue opening DWG file”
- You can also check “Always open DWG files regardless of origin”
- Double check file after opening to ensure nothing is askew
- Select “Continue opening DWG file”
- This drawing has unsupported objects
- There are some different options here
- “Show objects when available”
- This will put a bounding box in place of the object until it is found
- “Show bounding box for unsupported objects”
- This will put a bounding box in place of the object
- “Do not show unsupported objects”
- No bounding box will be in place of the object”
- “Show objects when available”
- Typically it is easier to select “Do not show unsupported objects”
- If there is something you think might be missing, try one of the other options and look through the file for anything that might have been deleted from the file
- There are some different options here
- Units appearing as decimals
- Type “Units” into the Command Bar
- Under “Length” change the type to “Architectural”
- You can also edit the precision (best if left at 0′-0 1/16″ or 0′-0 1/32″)
- Check the “Ok” button
