Intersect has been working closely with county commissioners and community stakeholders since 2021 to develop a functional space for administrative officials and community members that revives the historic features with a focus on the people with modern technologies. Intersect Studio guided county officials and stakeholders through a process to assess their needs and goals for this new public space. It was important that the new spaces rectified challenges with the administration’s current space for staff and provide transparent spaces for interactions with the public. Phase 2, called the Design and Development services was where the physical details for cost and design choices were determined.
