Southern Michigan Bank & Trust has been serving southwest Michigan communities since 1872. Headquartered in Coldwater, Michigan since 1955, their leadership team was ready for a renovation that supports their current work style, welcomes guests, showcases their pride for Southern’s long history. Intersect assisted Southern in creating an inviting and functional executive suite that expresses and supports Southern Michigan Bank’s mission of building trusting relationships and providing friendly services.
The new design strikes a balance between accessibility and privacy for customers and staff. Intersect developed optimized workspaces with custom ergonomic furniture for executive members, as well as a formal and highly functional boardroom with a hospitality kitchen and pre-function area. The elevated brand experience embraces rich walnut woods and features a historic timeline and art gallery, recognizing Southern’s two centuries of leadership.
